I love hunting!
So I decided to make this thing called a tent blind a little more me.

I sat one day for hours, reading and thinking.
I love scripture, it gets me through a lot of my days.
So that's what I did. I wrote some of my favorite
verses ALL OVER my tent,on the inside of course.
So that way while I am waiting for the deer, I can read the Word.
I love sitting out there alone for hours just visiting with God.
It is so peaceful and addicting!
I'll be adding on soon. Enjoy the pictures.

 Corner view
 Top of side
 The floor
View from my tent, where the hogs have been root'in
So we got rid of a few of them, the boys got one each 250lbs plus ones here
He loves making faces in my pictures, he doesn't think I will post them.
He was wrong.Happy hunting. If you can't find me that's where I am!

Vacation and God's Plan

Last week I decided to go ahead and take vacation this week. I had one friend having surgery and I could go out and help her a day or two when she got home. That was my plan.It didn't happen Then On Thursday(yesterday) I would head off to my walk to emmaus trip til Sunday. That was the plan. It didn't happen either.

My granny who lives next door to me got very ill Friday(last week). Called the ambulance, went to ER, had test ran. She needs BLOOD, and has a UTI. Staying the night in the Hospital .That was the plan. Well test results come back, sending her to heart hosp. in Lubbock. WHAT ! NOT THE PLAN. Get there and waiiittttttt.

Not her heart at all, it's a GI problem. Bleeding ulcers in tummy.Give blood, meds and some rest and on Tuesday(this week ) we are home ,but granny still weak and HOW could I go off for four days when I am her caregiver. I can't......So God always has a plan.......He knows when it is my turn for  the  walk . I am thrilled I can take care of granny and she is doing great. I am blessed and God is teaching me patience's and faith all in one.Hard test to pass but He assured me I could pass it. I am also blessed to have the friends I do. They have called, came by, send notes, texts,FB, and brought me dinner. I am so loved, and I so love each of them. THANK YOU SWEET GIRLS!!!

So Thursday (yesterday) I got to spend the morning 4:30am in a deer blind FREEZING with the hubby who was in his own blind, got back to see about granny, rested, had lunch with the girls, saw them off to the walk. Then rechecked on granny and headed to the deer blind again for the evening.

The hunting is a blast for me because I get to spend hours being still and with the LORD. I will take pictures of the inside of my blind. It has scripture written all over it. I take my Bible study and really get time with God, and just talking with Him......so peaceful.

Anyhoo there is my vacation week.I would not trade any of it for anything. God is good

Do you not know that . . . you are not your own? —1 Corinthians 6:19

There is no such thing as a private life, or a place to hide in this world, for a man or woman who is intimately aware of and shares in the sufferings of Jesus Christ. God divides the private life of His saints and makes it a highway for the world on one hand and for Himself on the other. No human being can stand that unless he is identified with Jesus Christ. We are not sanctified for ourselves. We are called into intimacy with the gospel, and things happen that appear to have nothing to do with us. But God is getting us into fellowship with Himself. Let Him have His way. If you refuse, you will be of no value to God in His redemptive work in the world, but will be a hindrance and a stumbling block.

The first thing God does is get us grounded on strong reality and truth. He does this until our cares for ourselves individually have been brought into submission to His way for the purpose of His redemption. Why shouldn’t we experience heartbreak? Through those doorways God is opening up ways of fellowship with His Son. Most of us collapse at the first grip of pain. We sit down at the door of God’s purpose and enter a slow death through self-pity. And all the so-called Christian sympathy of others helps us to our deathbed. But God will not. He comes with the grip of the pierced hand of His Son, as if to say, “Enter into fellowship with Me; arise and shine.” If God can accomplish His purposes in this world through a broken heart, then why not thank Him for breaking yours?

Boys - The Teen Chapters

As I went into my youngest son's room tonight
to put the things he had left in my car away....
This is what I found.
Poor Mr. Pig has the throw ups?
or so it seems.

I went ahead and picked  his mess up so when he gets in LATE from the
out of town football game he won't have to do it
I noticed a $10.00 bill in Mr. Pig.

Why didn't the boy just get it?

Just a Glimpse

Working at a Crisis Pregnancy Center I see lots of things. Some sweet some not and you wonder.....

What are people thinking these days? Why won't people get involved to help others as Jesus instructs us too.
At the Center we don't just help mothers, save babies, we minister to our clients.

Everyone is called to minister, if your not, then you should be.
We have a place for you.Come Volunteer we train, it's easy.....you are NEEDED

This photo warmed my heart, so I had to snap the pic as I had my husband race up behind it so I could get it

I read a lot of stickers on cars/ trucks but this one I love!

It's not a choice it's a child, GOD'S child.
Any Questions?

My man is on vacation this week, and for the first time in either a while or ever he has been all about me.
I am so soaking it in. I was off work Wednesday and we both decided not to go hunting. We would just take the day and spend it together.

Our day started off a little late because we slept til 9:46 AMEN!!!!! and then I hear these words. "Are you hungry?"  YES!!!!! I do my morning thing and after a bit I hear "Hey babe breakfast is ready". WHAT!

Yes he cooks too. You will see the proof below and yes this house runs on paper plates.I love you babe with all my heart and I loved spending the day with you yesterday.

Boys are F.U.N.

I recently bought this cute tile for my kitchen
to use for a grocery list reminder.
It was cute and cheap and well dry erase, so easy.

I bought groceries on Sunday .
 A HUGE amount of groceries.
Not once did I tell the boys to write down
things we were out of on the tile
...HMMMMMM

This morning I found this.

After I accused the only son that was at home
 that I recognized the handwriting
he said, well I only wrote poop, your other son wrote nuts.

Good thing these are separate items,
I have no idea which isle in the store to look for poop-nuts on!

We have all had a laugh over this one.
Boys are gross but they sure are fun.

Last weekend

Last weekend we took the RV to the pasture.

You know us rednecks never travel without comfort
or recliners.

The cotton way over there belongs to family members.
Love the view from the top of the farm.

Here she is ,home sweet home for the weekend.

My battle scare from a war with a fall and a tree.

Hubby snapped this, he loves me in camo.
We are headed to the deer blind then and NOW!!!!
See ya.
