Amazed

I am just amazed these days about what grown adults put on Facebook.A lot of them are friends with kids, a lot are friends with my kids.............why? I am really careful about what I say because I know a friend who other friends commented can see it even if I am not their friend.....hate that feature. No such thing as private is there.

All in the name of networking.....as I read what the adults write I am no longer shocked about how their children behave. So much of the time we spend telling our kids what to do, but we don't show them. So in turn they act like the parents.

I am really sad to see that when the tough get going the parents bail the kids out,.what happen to you got suffer the consequences of your choosen actions?

There is a HUGE difference in covering it up and bailing them out , than loving and supporting them through it.These days we want to have everything the others people do and the best and the latest to make us happy.

Happy kids??? What about training them up to be HOLY? I struggle with this too. My kids aren't perfect and neither am I. We can't do this parenting thing without God. Without His instructions. Where do we get that? The Bible, are we in it daily? I just want hurting people to wake up and know God is the only way to make it here on this earth and if we are not living for Him, this life is pointless.

We only get one time around.

Happy-UnHappy You Choose

Happiness is temporary
Joy is Eternal.

We choose what and how we let satan steal our joy.
We are Victorious over evil
We are the daughters of the KING.

Start your day with praise.
This is the day that the Lord has made I will REJOICE
and be glad (full of joy) in it.

Claim it, Shout it

I am the Daughter of the KING!

That Man I heart So Much!

I love my husband more than anything except GOD.
We had a blast together yesterday in the heat
at the farm and have enjoyed a great Bible Study
we will be facilitating in September as a couple.

This poem was one he wrote on the way to work
Sept.15th 2005 and then emailed it to me.
God is doing a mighty work
in this man and I LOVE IT!!!!!!!

I know I haven't done anything "little" in a while,

So I wanted you to "Have a Coke and a Smile",

As the carbonated soda flows past your taste buds,

your supposed to feel (FULL OF LOVE).

Goofy I know but makes me smile everytime.

Farm pics to come soon!!!!!!!

what a day so far

Managed to get the house semi-clean, okra made, and 3 loads
of clothes OUTSIDE ON THE LINE...
they smell so good!

I have saved a ton on money from not using
 the dryer this summer.

I have been pickling okra for about 2 weeks now.
The Family seems to like it, and it's so easy.

As Matthew says,
"Here's the factory"

And while I was at it I cooked the Hubby some
Paula Dean Gumbo........

The house smells so good.
