Amazed

I am just amazed these days about what grown adults put on Facebook.A lot of them are friends with kids, a lot are friends with my kids.............why? I am really careful about what I say because I know a friend who other friends commented can see it even if I am not their friend.....hate that feature. No such thing as private is there.

All in the name of networking.....as I read what the adults write I am no longer shocked about how their children behave. So much of the time we spend telling our kids what to do, but we don't show them. So in turn they act like the parents.

I am really sad to see that when the tough get going the parents bail the kids out,.what happen to you got suffer the consequences of your choosen actions?

There is a HUGE difference in covering it up and bailing them out , than loving and supporting them through it.These days we want to have everything the others people do and the best and the latest to make us happy.

Happy kids??? What about training them up to be HOLY? I struggle with this too. My kids aren't perfect and neither am I. We can't do this parenting thing without God. Without His instructions. Where do we get that? The Bible, are we in it daily? I just want hurting people to wake up and know God is the only way to make it here on this earth and if we are not living for Him, this life is pointless.

We only get one time around.

I love you. I just spent some time catching up on your blog and I loved the photo of your boys walking with sunshine all around them, priceless. And I chuckled at your son fishing in the curb, "how redneck can we get, don't answer that" hahahahahahahaha so funny, so true.

I've been thinking of you ALOT and praying for you. Let's have lunch real soon. Maybe this Friday?

Great post! Very true. It is sad and frightening what some people are willing to share on Facebook. Love you!

Hi Belinda, you actually have about 3 or 4 posts in this one! Several good ideas to pursue. Yes, I am appalled at some of what is on FB, too. The language, etc. Some of it sounds (reads) like a locker room. And parents bailing out their kids when they do something wrong? Setting them up for an even bigger fall later when mom and dad aren't around. Good wisdom here.
